LEARN TO CURL

Our instructional curling program was first offered in 1996 and has been running successfully ever since. It is a five-week program, offered in partnership with the Lunenburg Recreation Department on Tuesday evenings in November/December. The fee is $40 and all equipment is provided. The program focuses on the fundamental skills and strategies of curling, along with providing time to develop those skills on the ice. Everyone involved notices the building of skill level and confidence as the weeks progress.
After completing the lessons, participants can join the club for the winter session, which runs from the second week in January until the end of March. “Learn to Curl" participants receive a discounted membership fee for that session. Many of our present members took "Learn to Curl" and speak highly of how it helped them get started in the game of curling.
Please Note: "Learn to Curl" is available free-of-charge to new members and all parents and volunteers who are willing to assist the instructors in the Junior Curling Program. In this case, please contact the
Lunenburg Curling Club at 902-634-4493 or membership@curllunenburg.com to register.
