Our “Instructional Curling” program was first offered in 1996 and has been running successfully ever since. It is a five-week program, which is offered in partnership with the Lunenburg Recreation Department on Tuesday evenings in November/December. The fee is $40 and all equipment is provided. The program focuses on the fundamental skills and strategies of curling, along with providing time to develop those skills out on the ice. Everyone involved notices the building of skill level and confidence as the weeks progress.

After completing the lessons, participants can join the club for the winter session,

which runs from the second week in January until the end of March. “Instructional Curling” participants receive a discounted membership fee for that session. Many of our present members took the “Instructional Curling” program and speak highly of how it helped them get started in the game of curling.

Please Note: The “Instructional Curling” program is available free-of-charge to new

members and all parents and volunteers who are willing to assist the instructors in

the Junior Curling Program. In this case, please contact the Lunenburg Curling Club at 902-634-4493 or lcc@ns.aliantzinc.ca to register.
